Futsal & Education Scholarship

 Futsal & Education foundation Degree


Are you passionate about a career in the football industry? If so, you could study towards your degree at Bradford City Football Club.

Gain a university level qualification whilst studying at Bradford City Football Club

Develop the necessary skills and qualities that are required to work within professional football club community departments or national governing bodies

Complete up to 200 hours of voluntary coaching

Study towards your FA Level 2 Football Coaching Certificate

Students will be enrolled as a student at the University of South Wales and have access to the university’s online library, blackboard and learning materials

Regular coaching opportunities with Community Foundation and Academy staff

Lectures, seminars and tutorials delivered at Valley Parade via online material

Community football development

Principles of coaching

The two-year course will teach you aspects of children’s and youth coaching, football coaching, football development, social inclusion and sports management skills

 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 A minimum of 160 UCAS points

FA Level 1 Award in Coaching Football

Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

Three A*-C’s at GCSE, including English and maths

 EXIT ROUTES

 Top up to a full honours degree in Sports Coaching or Sports Development

Would you like to be an apprentice here at Bradford City FC, as part of our exciting Futsal programme, playing

football during the week ?


We still have a few places available on our Futsal & Education Scholarship for 16-17 year olds which starts in

September.


This part-practical/part-virtual learning BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is worth up to 3 ‘A’ Levels.


If you are a successful applicant, you will receive coaching in the game that has helped hone the skills of top

names in the sport and represent BCFC at the Futsal arena in Leeds on a Wednesday in the Football League

Trust Futsal League.


With the hours that we operate, any weekend games you may have if you are attached to any junior or senior club will not be affected.


Students must have completed their GCSE eductaion and have gained at least an A-C grade in English and Maths.
