Activity Leadership Apprenticeship

Bradford City F.C.

Community Foundation                         Activity leadership Apprenticeship

Are you considering your next step?

Are you passionate about Sports and Leisure?

Then our Activity Leadership Apprenticeship could be just what you need.

We are looking to recruit another group of apprentices to take part in our Activity Leadership NVQ2 course in Spring 2012.  This is in partnership with Lifeskills and our first cohort has been a big success.  The current group will be offered the chance to go on to the Customer Service follow-on course if they pass the NVQ2.

To qualify you need to be aged 16- 18 and not be currently working, or at school or college. We would ideally like you to have a GCSE at A- C grade, although we would consider all applications individually.

The Apprenticeship is a partnership between LifeSkills and Bradford City FC Community Foundation where you will employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

During your training you will get to see what goes on in the everyday running of a professional football club and will be involved in some of the jobs there – an invaluable experience you would not get anywhere else.

The qualifications you will come out with are great too. As well as an NVQ Level 2 in Activity and Leadership you’ll get key skills certificates in Communication and Application of Number and also qualifications in Health and Safety and Emergency First Aid.

You will also be paid £78.00 per week for the duration of the course so if you want to gain experience, lots of qualifications and the skills you need to work in Sports and Leisure please get in touch for an application form:
